Marie Losier sees pandrogeny as a love story

Name: Marie Losier
Age: 38
Hometown: Grosrouvre, France
Job description: Filmmaker, film director at French Institute Alliance Francaise
Upcoming projects: Post-production of The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye,
a documentary on Genesis P-Orridge and her partner, Lady Jaye Breyer P-Orridge

Describe your current state of mind.

I’m in pain because I have a slip disc. But other than that I’m just in a place where I can’t wait to edit my feature; it’s a good state of mind. I’m a little nervous on the board because it’s daunting. But I’m excited.

What were you like as a child?

I was very secretive, super shy and really introverted. I spent my whole childhood doing gymnastics competitively; I was in trees all the time, up in the air and somewhere really far away from the ground, doing a lot of dance and always flipping my body around. That was my way of dealing with growing up.

Heather Jones thinks life experience is underrated

Name: Heather Jones
Age: 25
Hometown: Nevada, MO
Job description: Artist, studio manager for the artist Swoon
Upcoming projects: Collaborative project with artist Veronica Doherty, sculptural ritual garments and sound installation.

Describe your current state of mind.

Overwhelmed by things that need to be done. My job, my life, and my work are like spinning plates that I have to keep going; so I’m constantly switching gears, scatter-brained. I need to run around to make sure that progress is being made: Is this print happening? Is this drawing happening? I’m trying to keep working today but the sun is out and it’s so beautiful. I’m so excited about life right now. Is that too vague?
